Estimation on fruit formation and development of Robusta coffee in Daklak
Summary The paper briefly presents the results in 2000-2001 on fruit formation and development of Robusta coffee investigated on three ripening groups: early, medium and late. Fruit dropping of Robusta coffee depended on the variety groups and highest rate of fruit drop was observed for the early ripening group and lowest for the late one. The fruit drop appeared to concentrate in March and July. In all observations, the increment in fruit volume and biomass as well as bean yield and quality of medium and late ripening groups were higher than those of the early ripening group.
